Steer Academy Apprentice Awards 2024

We wanted to share some highlights from the recent Steer Academy Apprentice Awards, generously hosted at 3M in Bracknell for the second year!  This fantastic event celebrated the dedication of our apprentices, mentors, and trainers, and we are immensely proud of each apprentice’s achievements. Congratulations to all winners, highly commended, and everyone nominated. 

Our CEO, Richard Steer, opened and closed the day with inspiring words on the incredible progress of our apprentices and the bright future ahead for the next generation of automotive leaders.  We were also joined by British racing driver Max Coates, who shared insights from his career, and Miguel Harvey with his World Skills Trainer, Richard Wheeler, as they recounted Miguel’s journey to success. 

We’re passionate about developing future automotive leaders through our Apprenticeship Programme, which has grown from 148 apprentices last year, including 11 females, to 340 apprentices this year, with 41 females now joining!
