The doors opened last week to our new build 13,000sq ft Sheffield bodyshop, making this the 12th East Midlands site and the 57th site within the group. The site provides quick access to the M1 and the wider region, strengthening the region’s footprint in South Yorkshire.
The extensive fit-out programme has seen not just the technology but also the awareness and training in Steer’s teams to ensure they are fully ready to repair not just the vehicles of today but also the vehicles of the future. The site is prepared with significant EV battery storage and dedicated multi material booth/cabin for Electric, hybrid and multi-material vehicle repairs. In addition, we are continuing to invest in our own ADAS calibration equipment as well as multiple qualified ADAS technicians across our group.
